Luca is a group leader and Career Development Fellow of the Pandemic Sciences Institute, part of the Nuffield Department of Medicine of the University of Oxford.

The group's research focuses on mathematical and statistical models for infectious disease epidemiology
and precision epidemiology.
We also develop models and analyses with wider applications to genomics, evolution, sociology and complex systems.
Our group is based at the Big Data Institute.
We work in close collaboration with several other groups at PSI, especially with
the Fraser,
Lythgoe,
Panovska-Griffiths and
Hay groups.
